Well, this year I’ve had vocal nodules from Jan to August, sprained adductor muscle on my leg for 1 month,( couldn’t walk very easily) cholesterol up. bone density down ( that’s bad) , and now I can add a very sprained R foot. I was walking our surrogate dog and twisted it . Dr Cody saw me today and I am on crutches and can’t drive or a little while. Last night Dad had to get up at 02:00 am to take me to work. I don’t DO much at work- just the computer and be there to “call the code” if necessary. I will be good till our trip hopefully. Oh brother love nancy/mom

I just applied for a new job at Mercy Hospital. If I get the job I will be working every Sat. and Sun. evening shift (3pm-1130pm). This allows me to keep my medical insurance and we won’t need daycare at all. I will also be able to sleep at night and be able to go to church every Sun. morning. Please pray that I get the job. Priority is given to current nurses but if another current nurse that has seniority over me applies, they will get the job. This is a big deal to me. I can’t handle night shift with 2 little kids at home…its exhausting and I don’t feel like I am being the greatest mom or wife while on nights. Please pray!

Well for Mark’s Birthday I took 5 of his friends bowling after church and pizza. It was hysterical. Chris started off by throwing the bowling ball into the OTHER lane next to him. !!! The boys were all concerned about doing poorly ( like scores of 20 !!) and kept the comedy coming. No one really competed against each other because they were all so bad !! Mark was the best and got 122 both times. The amazing last frame of the last game Mrak was behind the pack and then bowled 3 STRIKES IN A ROW to come back and actually win !! He was elated !!! He was jujmping aropund like a rabbit . hooting and hollering like he”d just won hte lottery or something. The entire bowling alley staff and customers were looking at him carry on. I couldn’t stop laughing. It was great. We are home now and watching the Eagles and eating ice cream. Mark ad a great time needless to say.
Lastly, I want to say the Mark is one of the NICEST kids I ever known. You boys were all great and Mark is certainly a chip of you’alls blocks !!! He is knid, considerrate, loving to Grace and a phenomenal athlete. His best friend , Daniel couldn’t come bowling because of a “mis-scheduling” and Mark was very disappiointed. Then this morning in church there was a kid there that is being fostered by one of our church family’s .He has never been at MSBC on a weekend ( 2 x on Wednesday night.) He is 14yr. Well ,Mark invited him to come home and join in. (If Daniel would have come there wouldn’t have been room for one more in my van) After bowling Mark mentioned that maybe it was meant to happen like this so the new kid could come instead of Daniel. Isn’t Mark SWEET ????!!!! Love my kids. They don’t get any better than this !! Love mom

Hey family
Dad just finished up the World View Reunion , an ALL week end event with about 50 of summer camps’s kids and a few new comers. They did the service this morning too. Three electric guitars, 1 acoustic, 1 bass and drums. Grace was a backup singer ( very cute) Mark played his NEW electric. Dad was soooo pleased to teach the kids. I am ALWAYS AMAZED how attentive the teens are and responsive … and you know DAD - it’s for HOURS !!! They love him soo much and come back for more. Four of them gave testimonies this morning and all mentioned how much his teaching has changed their lives. It made me proud and teary eyed. Dad said that he was ” teary eyed ” because of how proud he was of them and seeing their love for the LORD. The last time that happened was when you all were home and did the service together. He is soo proud of you’all and I am too. It makes me miss you.
Anyway, dad is feeling VERY Blessed today and all week end.> He lingers to the very end to say good by and experiences it all so deeply. Don’t see it too often, just thought I’d write about it love MOM

I am so excited that everyone is going to be together for Thanksgiving! Are we going to find out who we have for Christmas before then so we don’t have to mail gifts this year?
I hope everyone is having a great week. Grace I can’t wait to talk to you again after you get your braces and find out how it goes. I started in a new department with the same company, actually in an office now! So I’m excited. I still have a few days with my old job, but when I’m not needed I go to my new position. This way I’m not loosing any hours. Pray for the other temp in my new job. She has been there for a couple months and isn’t excited that they’ve brought me in. There were some uncomfortable moments yesterday with her attitude.
