Glory’s New Job
Glory has a new job in Lynchburg and this was in the newsletter for the group she is now teaching for:
"Kristy and I have been wading through countless resumes for the last several weeks. AKKK Painful. Then all of a sudden some little girl shows up on our door step (literally) with her glowing resume saying that she would be available to join the team. Of course I know this was just too good to be true but I've always been taught by my mamma that I should give the person the benefit of time. Sooo we auditioned her. All I can say is . . . Glory Hallelujah. (I know, I'll get it for that one).
Ladies and gentlemen please welcome to our team Ms. Glory Schmoyer. It was all I could do to keep from falling of my keyboard stool and hiding my grin from ear to flappy ear when I heard her sing. Awesome. She is incredible at piano as well and she can teach flue. I'm beside myself. She has studied Jazz piano up north for a time until she realized that her true calling was here in Lynchburg. Took her long enough! Well that's ok we all need to go out from time to time when we are young to see that the grass is not always greener. (Unless of course you water it.)."
