Connecting the family over distance

Happy Birthday Adrienne!

I hope you're enjoying your first day of being 24! :) Do y'all have the keys to your house now!? What a great bday present if so!

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday

Happy birthday Dana!! I know your birthday isn't till tomorow, but we will be gone so i'm saying it now. Happy Birthday!! Your a great Sis-in-law. It's nice, (for a change) when the girls outnumber the boys in our family. lol Have a blessed day and enjoy this new year.

Thank you!

Mom, Dad, Grace and Mark, I got my birthday card in the mail yesterday. Thank you so much! All that y'all wrote was very sweet. I am so glad that I am a part of y'alls family. We are looking forward to y'all visiting in May!

I am taking a break right now from cleaning the house. I've got the washing machine, dryer and dish washer all running right now getting ready for Glory to come tomorrow. We'll spend most of the day in Maple Grove tomorrow. Tim and I are going to head down there tonight after youth group so we don't have to wake up so early to get to the airport, and just to have fun with Dan, Maggie and Ruby!

I am so excited about the next few days. This is going to be a wonderful birthday! And to top things off, I got a call today to go in and substitute for a 1st grade teacher on the 26th and 27th. I am really looking forward to getting back into the classroom. I like to think of that opportunity one of my many bday presents from God! :) I've lost count of all the blessings we have had with moving up here to Alex. I've had some personal tough times with all the transitions, but I can see all of God's glory around with everything he is using us for, and teaching me.

Sankanac

So i've driven off every friend of mine raving about camp! lol J/K but it seems like that. Then we will be going to see ya'll! won't that be fun!

So yesterday, two people came over to check out our house as part of our aplication for a dog. they brought two goldens with them. they are really big dogs in a really tiny house. they also had more smell then she thought they would. maybe we should rethink that. lol so now she is a little more open to a smaller dog, like the terrier i want!

I will talk to ya'll later and see you all soon! (now i have to learn the minnisotan accent)lol

Ankles?

So I woke up this morning and discovered that my ankles are completely gone. Yep, thats right it goes straight from my calfs and suddenly there are my feet, which seem definately wider than normal. My hands have been a little swollen for a while now, but it really happened overnight with my feet. I am a week shy of being 8 months pregnant, and I definately feel it. Baby boy Schmoyer is as active as ever and his little butt is constantly jabbing me in my ribs on the right side, always a joy! :) Tomorrow I leave for Texas to visit the fam. My sister and bro-in-law are there right now too and I had a free ticket to use up so I figured it was a good time. Not to mention David has to work 6 out of the next 7 nights, so I won’t be missing much here either. Now I will get to experience just how Maggie felt at David and I’s wedding being 8 months prego with Ruby in the overwhelming heat & humidity. Well, thats all from here, back to laundry and then some packing.
Love, Adrienne
PS-Rayford, we loved the poem!

a poem

hey ya'll. i wrote this poem when maggie was pregnent with ruby but i never got to read it to them. now i thought i could put it out while there are 2 babys to do it for.

It will have it's mothers nose,
And it's Fathers toes.
People reconize a schmoyer,
Were ever it goes
It will have it's mothers smile
and it's fathers mouth,
and it will smell like dad too,
when noses come from down south

Winter is back! :(

These past few days have been really depressing! the snow came back, the cold temps have returned, and the wind had really picked up making it colder than it looks outside. if you were to just look outside and see the sun shining and look at the green grass you'd think it was in the 50-60 degree range but as soon as you step outside the 15-20 degree temps smack you in the face! its kinda annoying because less than 2 weeks ago we hit a record high of 85 degrees!!! we were all ready for spring. the pool had melted, the grass was getting greener by the day, our tulips were beginning to break out of the ground, and we had even begun to play outside more. Those are all in the past for now. our weather forecast calls for more 30's and 40's over the next week so hopefully we'll be able to have some enjoyable weather while glory is here visiting in 2 weeks.

well, that's all i have to say about that. have a great day and we'll see you all soon hopefully!

dan, maggie, ruby, and mini schmoyer (i had a mental fart last time i wrote "mini". thanks for clearing it up adrienne! Tongue out)
