Adrienne, I hope you had a great day today turning 25! First birthday as a Mom, so exciting!

I love you!

I can’t believe I am actually engaged. Ahhh!!! We’ve been talking about getting married and planning for it but there’s nothing more exciting than actually being engaged! For those of you who don’t know…on Friday, March 6th after a long day (long week for that matter), I walked into my dark apartment. Michael had cleaned my entire apartment and lit candles everywhere. It was so enchanting! I didn’t get even get passed the doorway when he started his “speech”. He said some things, which I can’t remember for the life of me, then the next thing I knew he was on his knee!!!!!! I melted.
The date has not set at the moment. September 1st or 6th is what we’re planning for. It just depends on a few things here. The wedding with be here in Forest, VA. I am really looking forward to ya’ll coming. I know for some of you it will be your first time in the great state of Virginia. Michael is very excited about joining the family and I am overjoyed to become a Dobyns’.
Check out the pictures! It was so hard getting a good picture of the ring because it’s just so darn shiny!!
I can’t seem to upload them here. I’ll email some out. Let me know if you’d like to see it.

Just wanted to write a quick note and say thanks again to all who flew out to watch Ruby, the babies, and the puppies while we went on vacation. It was such a great time to get away, we had so much fun and we really appreciate you guys and all of your hard work (because we know it was)!! Noah and the puppies miss you terribly already. Come back soon!

Hey Family

We hope you all had a great Christmas and enjoyed yuor little families and and relatives from ALL over !! Thank yu for the gifts, cards and clls. We especially miss you at that time of year. Mark and Grace said they really missed you BIG ones and it didn’t seem quite ” normal” without at least 1 of you here. In anticpation of that I invited 50 people plus to our Chridstmas day open house. Abourt 20 kids and 35 adults came and played games and.broke a pinata and ATE !! Grace said she and Mark had a wonderful time and it made all the difference with you all being away. MAN _ IT TAKES 50 people to replace you BIG ONES !! Yes, it sure does. I’m exhuasted and we are heading up to Allenetown to Sue’s. Pop Pop Schmoyer was dizzy yesterday and actually stayed home on Christmas Day (sigh.)
Well, God Bless You - the BEST people in the world - love you Mom/ Nancy PS there were 100 people in church Christams Eve . Church has been growing this fall and we might even have a vocalist ( there IS HOPE !)

Hey guys
After 2 days of packing and re- packing , I finally got 95% of the stuff in a huge computer box and med/large siutcase ! 98lb. of David’s skate board, Lincoln Logs ( I hope one of you boys WANT them ! If NOT let me know BEFORE we come out. Maybe Tammi’s boys would want them. Let me know ) Ruby’s wagon, and Christmas gifts ! The limit is 100lb so I had to take somethings out.
This does Not include our own clothes luggage,which we will pack light . Can’t believe it’s almost here . One more Sunday. I really wish I could go to st Louis too.

Well, this year I’ve had vocal nodules from Jan to August, sprained adductor muscle on my leg for 1 month,( couldn’t walk very easily) cholesterol up. bone density down ( that’s bad) , and now I can add a very sprained R foot. I was walking our surrogate dog and twisted it . Dr Cody saw me today and I am on crutches and can’t drive or a little while. Last night Dad had to get up at 02:00 am to take me to work. I don’t DO much at work- just the computer and be there to “call the code” if necessary. I will be good till our trip hopefully. Oh brother love nancy/mom
